چکیده

The results of the study heat transfer under forced convection in a flat porous microchannel taking into account boundary conditions slippage first and second order are considered.
simulation showed that with decreasing porosity flow velocity central part slipping on wall decrease due to increase hydrodynamic resistance. Taking influence shows magnitude jump varies depending value parameter A2. decreases positive A2, negative - increases comparison case A2 = 0 (first conditions).
Qualitatively similar effects second-order were also observed respect temperature profiles.
calculation relative Nusselt number contributes intensification transfer.
dynamics change coefficient an Knudsen indicates Prandtl leads improvement thermal interaction channel wall. analysis at small values (Pr ≤ 1) was not observed. At < lead number, whereas A2> normalized (boundary order).

Second-Order Slip Flow and Heat Transfer in a Long Isothermal Microchannel

Abstract—This paper presents a study on the effect of second-order slip and jump on forced convection through a long isothermally heated or cooled planar microchannel. The fully developed solutions of thermal flow fields are analytically obtained on the basis of the second-order Maxwell-Burnett slip and Smoluchowski jump boundary conditions. Results reveal that the second-order term in the Karn...

Second-Order Slip Flow and Heat Transfer in a Long Isoflux Microchannel

Abstract—This paper presents a study on the effect of second-order slip on forced convection through a long isoflux heated or cooled planar microchannel. The fully developed solutions of flow and thermal fields are analytically obtained on the basis of the second-order Maxwell-Burnett slip and local heat flux boundary conditions. Results reveal that when the average flow velocity increases or t...

Study of MHD Second Grade Flow through a Porous Microchannel under the Dual-Phase-Lag Heat and Mass Transfer Model

A semi-analytical investigation has been carried out to analyze unsteady MHD second-grade flow under the Dual-Phase-Lag (DPL) heat and mass transfer model in a vertical microchannel filled with porous material. Diffusion thermo (Dufour) effects and homogenous chemical reaction are considered as well. The governing partial differential equations are solved by using the Laplace transform method w...

Boundary layer Viscous Flow of Nanofluids and Heat Transfer Over a Nonlinearly Isothermal Stretching Sheet in the Presence of Heat Generation/Absorption and Slip Boundary Conditions

The steady two-dimensional flow of a viscous nanofluid of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow and heattransfer characteristics for the boundary layer flow over a nonlinear stretching sheet is considered. Theflow is caused by a nonlinear stretching sheet with effects of velocity, temperature and concentrationslips. Problem formulation is developed in the pre...
